Here's my Parker - loving summer and spending time at the lake! He loves eating candy, chips, and freeze pops. And, has even started to think that you can have that stuff for supper :)

Parker slept in the guest bedroom last night because it was SO hot. I turned on the window AC and told him he got to sleep in the big bed. He was REALLY excited! He slept all night, and this morning when he woke up he said "big one mommy" and was proud that he wasn't in his crib. I think it's time to take down his crib and move him into a toddler bed. He's such a squirmer at night though...I need to get some of those guard rails so he doesn't fall out.

We are going to Amber, Tommy & Jayden's for supper tonight. It was another thing that Parker was excited about when he woke up. "I see Jaydens house mommy" he said. He LOVES playing with toys (that are not his) and entertaining Jayden. It is fun to see the 2 of them to gether. Such special kids :)

I love this face! Look what happens when you give a kid a can of pop :) Parker LOVED every minute of this - can you tell? What a kid!!!!!

I'm back :)

Ok, here's the scoop. My computer crashed at work about 2 weeks ago and I have been going NUTS because I haven't been able to post anything on my blog. But, thanks to the computer fairy out there, I played with it my settings again today and it whatever I did worked!

So, I'm back. Here's a recent photo of Parker and I. I'll be publishing updates like a mad woman this week :)

Sleepover

Here they are: the cat's meow!

Brandon, Sean, & Amanda spent the night with us on Tuesay, July 3rd. They're "posing" for a picture on the couch, while Parker drinks his milk. Shortly after this they all had a bowl of popcorn - so cute to see them all together!

We all went to bed around 10:30/11...and Parker couldn't get settled down. He just wanted to play with his cousins.

Up and at 'em early in the a.m. they were! And ready to celebrate the 4th of July too. They swam and played all day. 4 little fishes, 4 little friends, 4 COOL KIDS!

Big Rig

Don't know who's more excited about the ride in Papa's truck...Parker or Papa?!!!!!! How fun this was for both of them! Papa took Parker from Paynesville to Spicer - we hoisted his car seat up in the passenger seat and away they went! He talked the whole ride (surprise, surprise) and told Papa to go "beep beep" with the horn. So fun. So special. These 2 are buds!

Independence Day

Happy 4th of July!

We are ready to celebrate!!! We're heading to Spicer today after 5 to spend the day on Lake Florida. Hoping the weather is nice, we're going to have a house full! Amanda, Brandon, & Sean will be arriving around 9:30 pm for a sleepover - Parker will HOPEFULLY be in bed by then. When he wakes up in the morning, he'll be in for a day filled with FUN (especially becasue his cousins will already be there!)

Parker got a taste of the "poppers" (or sparklers, as Grammy says) in the sky this past weekend...he thought they were so cool!

I'll post pictures on Thursday when I'm back at work. Yes, I have to sit at my desk Thursday and Friday. Parker is spending 2 extra days with Grammy while I'm back at it. I don't think he'll come back the least bit spoiled!
