Parker & Jayden

Dinner at Applebees: $35
Trip to the mall to buy P & J new tennis shoes: $75
Seeing the 2 of these boys grow together: PRICELESS
I love that these 2 boys are BUDDIES. I think Amber and I would both agree that it is so rewarding to sit back and watch them learn, grow, bond, and love one another.

Space Aliens

Here's Parker...posing for a photo at the arcade at Space Aliens. He was SO excited that he got a green bouncy ball and hockey pencil with all of his tokens. I'll definitely be scrapping a page of this :)

Have you ever had the fries there? They come in these really cool cone looking things - and they're YUMMY! Parker at a whole container...with LOTS of ketchup. Oh, to be a kid and not worry about calories!

Camo Boy

Parker and I spent the day at home yesterday hanging out :) We watched Shark Tale (2x), played ball, ordered pictures from the computer, washed clothes, put away laundry, made his bed, and snuggled on the couch.
I love lazy days! Especially when they are with my Parker boy!!!!!

Join The Wiggles, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and all the Wiggly Dancers as part of the All-New live concert tour, “Racing to the Rainbow Live!,” in Minneapolis.

The Wiggling commences at Target Center on August 17 at 3:00 & 6:30 PM.

Come and wiggle in the aisles as the Racing to the Rainbow Live! Tour brings The Wiggles highly interactive, fun and educational message to Minneapolis. Audience participation features include:

o Having fun with your favorite wiggly pal as they sing and dance through the audience

o Start the fun at home by creating a Wiggles sign and/or dressing up as your favorite character

o Yelling “Wake up, Jeff!,” whenever the loveable Purple Wiggle falls asleep onstage.

o Bringing roses, for dancing pal Dorothy the Dinosaur, and bones, for canine comedian Wags the Dog, that The Wiggles and Wiggly Dancers collect during the show

The Wiggles, the world’s #1 preschool band, performed 300 shows to more than 1.5 million fans since 2005 in the United States alone. The Wiggles perform over 200 shows annually across four continents. Fans can catch The Wiggles twice daily on Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney™ block. Parker was SO excited when he woke up this morning! I'm really looking forward to seeing his eyes light up when he realizes that he get to ACTUALLY see the Wiggles live, in concert :)

More details and photos to come after we see the concert tonight. Yippee!

Daily Something

I found this on a website that I frequent (2x a day!) and I really like the subtle message that it sends. It makes me think about the little things in life - what I'm thanful, hopeful, and greatful for. It also reminds me that I need to slow down a bit and take time for the small things that really matter. Like snuggling with Parker before he goes to bed, waking up an extra 1/2 hour early so that I can watch cartoons with him. And do all of the "stuff" that I need to do after he goes to bed. Think about your "daily somethings". :)

Ready

I love this photo - Parker anxiously waiting for the ball to be pitched to him so he can swing. Love his anticipation. Love his readiness. Love his patience. Love his athleticism (is that a word?). Love this boy.

Parker Photos

Word on the street - Parker is pursuing his modeling career!!!!!
I've been in contact with a Modeling Agency in Minneapolis. We are getting his profile ready for potential clients to review. If there is an interest, Parker will go to a casting - and if they like him book a photo shoot. From there we wait for the check :) I'm just waiting to see what happens with all of this. If nothing else, I will know that I tried!

Our friend, Gina Hagen, come over yesterday to snap some photos of Parker. There were 171 of my little man!!!! Here are some of my favorites...LOVE the ones on the motorcycle :)

Eat a big one, mommy!

Here's my boy Parker, eating Macaroni-n-cheeze, applesauce, fruit snacks, AND Sprite pop. It is so fun to be able to take him "out" to eat now. And he actually EATS! Nice change of pace from him being so picky. Gotta love Target :)

Big Boy Bed!

Here's Parker...in his big boy bed! We went to Target on Sunday night to get sheets, a pillow, and he picked out the "Cars" pillow too. It was fun to give him choices :)

We got home and he was so excited to get his bed ready. He even helped take down the crib. He slept through the night AWESOME...and when he woke up in the morning he said "I sleep in a big one, mamma"!!!!!!! Should have seen the proud look on his face, it was PRICELESS.

My boy is growing up so fast and learning so many new things. I still continue to be in awe almost every day at the words he says and the things he comprehends. I love being his mamma!!!!!
